IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals (DC) Full Schedule, Match Lists, Time and Venue, Squads, Captain, Bought Players. In the inaugural match of IPL 2023, Delhi Capitals (DC) will face Lucknow Super Kings. At Lucknow’s Ekana Cricket Stadium on April 1, the match is scheduled for Saturday.
In the league stage of IPL 2023, DC will play 14 matches, including two games against Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings, and Punjab Kings. They will play one game each against Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, and Lucknow Super Giants.

Since Rishabh Pant is recovering from injuries caused by a road accident, he will not be able to participate in IPL 2023. DC bought five players during IPL auction, the most expensive of which was Mukesh Kumar (Rs. 5.5 crore) and Rilee Rossouw (Rs. 4.6 crore). David Warner will be captaining the team.
Delhi Capitals did not qualify for playoffs last season. They finished in 5th place in the points table with 7 wins and 7 defeats in 14 games. They have not won any IPL title to date. In the 2020 season, Delhi reached the final but lost to Mumbai Indians. The team will seek to win its first trophy in IPL 2023.
